Dr. Kofi BobiBarimah was the Foundation Dean of the Faculty of Public Health & Allied Sciences at the Catholic University College of Ghana-Fiapre where he also served as its acting Dean from 2007-2013. Before relocating to Ghana in 2003, he was the Research & Profile Development Manager at the Ontario Association of Youth Employment Centres, Toronto, Canada. Ms. Edith Frempong
Edith is a Research Assistant who holds a BA degree in Industrial Arts. She is in charge of Planning and organizing of training and workshops to ensure full participation for TRIC, developingbudgets and accounting for workshop at the Unit .She holds fast to her integrity and maintains a good rapport with her colleagues.
Mr Okyere joined Ghana Technology University College as the coordinator for the Office of Research Services and Innovation in October 2013. He is an Erasmus Mundus Scholar and holds multiple Master of Science Degrees in Photonics Engineering, Nanophotonics and Biophotonics from the Polytechnic University of Catalunya, Barcelona, Spain and Optics and Photonics from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Karlsruhe, Germany. Mr. Prince Obeng Lokko
Prince joined TRIC in 2014 as a Research Administrator. He holds a Masters degree in Oil and Gas Management from Coventry University, UK and a BSC Biological Science from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. He is responsible for managing pre and post grant awards at the technology transfer centre. Prince maintains relationship between faculty-student project teams and the office. As a grant officer, he is working to assist in the implementation of grants awards and ensures post-award compliance. He is also the Monitoring and Evaluation coordinator for TRIC funded projects. Prince research interest is in organizational Health and Safety Management, Management for Competitive edge and Oil Spill Response, Recovery and Restoration.
Mabel Amachie is a front desk officer at TRIC. She holds an HND in Business Studies (Secretarial) from Best Brain College. She also holds a professional Certificate from the university of Ghana business school (CMRPD) on effective front desk management and effective office management. She is responsible for Administrative tasks at the center. She is a good analytical dexterity, result oriented person, patience and above all sociable. These qualities together brings out her uniqueness working at the university community that’s hallmark is integrity, excellence, student centered and innovation.
Eric Adu-Gyamfi joined the Office of Research Services and Innovations in February 2014. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Philosophy and Ghanaian Language from University of Cape Coast (UCC) and a Diploma in Journalism from Oxford Institute of Acting and Journalism. Read More
Mr. Mark Ofori Nketia is an Assistant Registrar (Researcher) at the Office of Research Services and Innovation (ORSI). He is responsible for the development of Research and Consultancy culture at ORSI in collaboration with the Coordinator. Mark works proactively within ORSI to support the work of both the Grants/Consultancy unit and the Research unit. He also plan, design and implement assigned projects. Mark holds a Master of Business Administration degree with a major in Management Information Systems from Sikkim Manipal University, India. He formerly worked with National Identification Authority and was very instrumental in developing procedures and systems for the shipping unit of the Identity Card Production Systems (ICPS). Prior to that, he was a research analyst at PHC Motors. He has a research interest in Business Intelligence, E-Government/Governance, Entrepreneurship, Management Science and Health at the work place.
